Saving Lives - A Practice of Long Life

Each year the Rigpa community raises money to ransom animals and other beings who are facing certain death and set them free. We do this at auspicious times of the year, such as significant anniversaries in the life of Shakyamuni Buddha, when the effect of actions are said to be multiplied millions of times.

We direct the merit of this powerful action for the long life of our teachers and the welfare of ourselves and others.
