Who pays for our Centre?

An opportunity to manifest something wonderful together

 

Rigpa Melbourne is dedicated to the dharma and specifically enlightenment. Our Centre and activities only exists because of the collective support and offerings of our students, Rigpa friends and the community. Rigpa Melbourne is run solely by volunteers who generously offer their time and energy to the study and practise of Tibetan Buddhism.

 

Many of our community and supporters give time, pay for courses, donate financially, or support the centre simply by attending events, contributing to our rich and diverse community.

 

Fundraising for our Centre is a chance to practise generosity, one of the Six Bodhisattva Paramitas. Generosity, when we apply it, assists our Centre to fulfill its purpose. It is said, giving  without seeking anything in return leads to greater spiritual wealth. We aim to raise extra funds to support those who are limited financially.

 

Ultimately though, generosity and donations substantially contribute to our centre’s future, our capacity to build the wonderful community Rigpa Melbourne and to support those on their spiritual journey.

 

All donations will be gratefully received, all will be wisely used.
