DESCRIPTION:\n \n \n In this 8-week course — the third Know yo
ur Mind\, Transform your Life course module — we w
ill explore Buddha’s teachings on our mind’s true
nature\, also referred to as buddha nature\, or th
 e wealth of our innate wakefulness.\n \n \n \n \n
\n The teachings on buddha nature communicate mos
t directly what lies at the heart of Buddha's mess
age: that we are fundamentally good\, and our esse
ntial nature\, our identity\, is the same profound
 \, peaceful\, stainless\, lucid\, and unconditione
d essence that Buddha himself discovered at the ti
 me of his spiritual awakening.\n \n \n \n Confiden
ce in buddha nature is deeply transformative in te
rms of our outlook on life\; the way we view ourse
lves\, the world around us\, our values and priori
ties in life\, our relationship to our spiritual p
ath: all this is touched by the teachings on buddh
 a nature.\n \n \n \n This course will bring togeth
er classic Indian and Tibetan Buddhist teachings o
n buddha nature\, and contemporary teachings by So
gyal Rinpoche that present the topic of buddha nat
ure from the perspective of the dzogchen teachings
.\n \n \n \n We will work together on building con
fidence in our buddha nature through reflection an
d contemplation\, as well as the practice of medit
ation — learning to relax into the clarity and awa
reness of our mind which is available to us all th
 e time.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Course details\n \n \n
