The Buddhist teachings show us a way to find a deep sense of fulfilment that does not depend on outer circumstances and is naturally ours. Through a process of reflection and meditation, we find inner strength, which allows us to fully and fearlessly engage with everything we experience in our lives. Then, all our experiences – happy or sad, good or bad – will become a source of personal growth and spiritual awakening: they have the potential to open our eyes and our heart, and make us grow wiser and more compassionate.
Turning Suffering and Happiness into Enlightenment will present teachings that offer commentary of the classic, short and pithy text, Taking Happiness and Suffering on our Path, by the great Dzogchen master Dodrupchen Jigme Tenpe Nyima. This text presents the Buddha’s teachings on how to transform suffering and happiness in a manner that is easy to understand and put into practice.
