The Wheel of Life: The Twelve Links of Dependent Origination
The Twelve Links of Dependent Origination is one of the foundation teachings in Tibetan Buddhism. Also known as the Wheel of Life, it represents our human life in samsara. The Wheel of Life image appears on many Tibetan thangkas and serves as a reminder of the cyclic nature of the suffering of samsara, and of what we need to do to get out of samsara. We will explore how our fundamental ignorance of the truth of reality and delusion are at the core of this process.
Venerable Khenpo Tsering Tashi is the founder of Yeshikhorlo Tibetan Buddhism Association in Australia, Taiwan and Malaysia. He will teach in Tibetan with English translation.
