Mind, Matter and Consciousness: A Buddhist Perspective
A weekend with Andy Karr and Lynn Friedman

Combining contemporary Western philosophical inquiries with classical Buddhist investigations into the nature of mind, Andy and Lynn invite you to spend a weekend on a personal, experiential journey to look deeply at mind and the nature of reality. Accessible and practical, these contemplative and meditative practices help us face our own experience with openness, spontaneity and compassion, liberate ourselves from the tyranny of our mental projections and access our own natural goodness.

Over the course of this weekend, you will:

  • Learn how to meditate
  • Build a deep appreciation for why we meditate
  • Unravel your ordinary concepts about mind and the world around you
  • Investigate the flaws of a materialistic world view
  • Get a taste of your mind’s vast capacity for wisdom and compassion
