From time to time we all experience what is commonly referred to as ‘being in the flow’: whatever we do goes smoother than usual, and somehow less effortful, with a sense of ease and an intuitive overview of the bigger picture. Even difficult situations seem somehow more manageable.
In this five week course we will focus on some core principles of Buddhist philosophy and practice that can help us attain this state of presence more reliably, instead of being an occasional occurrence or a ‘fluke’.
By taking a very practical approach to meditation, the classes will show you not only how the practice of meditation can bring us inner peace, clarity, and contentment, but also how to carry our meditation practice into everything we do. This brings a sense of focus, and an awareness and deeper understanding of ourselves, our world, and the people we live and work with.
