Preparing for Death, Training for Dying

It’s our pleasure to invite you to attend the next training by International Spiritual Care educator Rosamund Oliver:
Preparing for Death, Training for Dying - based on The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying.

This training follows on from last year’s “How to Have a Good Death”, and we would be excited if you could attend this next step of the training, which is more experiential in nature (particularly, in terms of reflections, exercises and specifically Buddhist practice - moving from understanding death towards training for dying).

A prerequisite for this training is having attended Ros’s previous training or at least having attended an Are You Ready training.

The training will be a hybrid event with Ros in the UK, us meeting in centre groups (Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Adelaide & Melbourne) and ‘bush tele’ fully online.

Costs: $175 full and $99 concession or subscriber (incl GST)

Sunday 20 (4-8pm) September 

Part 1 Saturday 16 May 11.30am-3.30pm and
Part 2 Saturday 23 May 1.30pm-5.30pm.

Attendance at all sessions is required.

Locations: This nationally coordinated course will be offered in person in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney and possibly Canberra but also online for the Bush Telegraph sangha. Because of the subject matter and in order to create a safe environment and hold attendees, we encourage those of you in centres to attend in person, if at all possible.

Prerequisite: Attendance at a Rigpa course or retreat. Please note: having completed an Are You Ready? workshop is a prerequisite for attending How to Have a Good Death part 2, the fourth in a series of trainings that will be presented by Ros Oliver. This will be held on 18, 19, 20 September 2026.
