Are You Ready - How to prepare for my own death
Special Training for the Rigpa sangha

From a spiritual point of view, the moment of death is considered to be the most important moment of our life. This one-day training presents some specific guidance and practice advice for understanding and preparing for death. We will look at how to prepare ourselves spiritually, emotionally and practically, using guided reflections, practical exercises and discussion. This training can help us prepare for our own death and to become a true source of support for each other on our spiritual journey through life and death.

This sangha training is part of the ‘Are You Ready?’ project. The ‘Are You Ready?’ website has a wealth of teachings and practices, as well as practical information on preparing for death, spiritual care after death, bereavement and supporting non-buddhist family and friends. Students who have done a Rigpa course or retreat and all Rigpa Mandala students, are warmly invited and encouraged to attend this special one day training, even if you have attended the course before.

Locations: This nationally coordinated course will be offered in person in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and online for the Bush Telegraph sangha. Because of the subject matter and in order to create a safe environment and hold attendees, we encourage you to attend in person, if at all possible.

Prerequisite: Attendance at a Rigpa course or retreat.

Suggested donation: $20 full, $10 subscribers, donation concession.

Further details and hand out materials will be provided after registration, so please endeavour to register as soon as you can. You will be contacted by someone from your local sangha after registration with specific location details. For those attending at centres or in groups, handouts will be provided on the day or via email for those online.
