An introductory course exploring meditation as taught in the Tibetan Buddhist lineage. Thursday nights 7:00pm-9:00pm.

This course takes you on a journey to discover directly for yourself what the practice of meditation reveals, as taught in the tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.

It’s simple to understand for complete beginners yet very profound as well for those with more experience. The course is conducted interactively, following the methods laid down by the Buddha where you take nothing on faith but discover the truth for yourself. Filled with clear advice on how to practice both ‘on the cushion’ (or chair) and in daily life, this course will support you to discover, establish and deepen the practice and benefits of meditation.

The course will also include practical advice on how to apply what you have learned through practising Buddhist meditation to everyday situations.

Led by Western meditation instructors with many years of experience, you’ll explore key themes and teachings, drawing on advice from the Buddhist tradition as well as insights and findings

from recent scientific research.

Each session consists of practice, discussion and interactive group investigation, video teachings and guided audio meditations to support your practice.
