To join the practice and follow the text you need to have received an empowerment of Kurukulla from an authentic and qualified lama. Orgyen Tobgyal Rinpoche will confer the empowerment for the outer practice on Fri 11 Sept.

Volunteer Roster A Note About Volunteering - During retreat you will be asked to contribute towards the running of the event with your time, your labour and/or your skills. This contribution can be seen not only as a contribution to the improved and harmonious running of retreat but as a contribution to the Dharma. Permission for all Rigpa mailings
In the interests of the wellbeing of the elderly and those with compromised immune systems we ask that you do not attend this event in person if you have symptoms of influenza, COVID or other respiratory illness, such as a cough, sore throat, headache, runny nose or fever. If we are sharing the event online, write to us and we will send you the link for the live stream.

Code of Conduct

Rigpa is an international community of individuals following the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. It is our shared wish to create a safe environment for the study and practice of the Buddhist teachings, one where we all feel a sense of responsibility for each others’ well-being and spiritual path.

Whatever your participation or role in the activities associated with Rigpa, everyone has a responsibility to conduct themselves in accordance with the laws of the land and the ethical behaviour outlined in the Rigpa Code of Conduct. We ask that you agree to abide by our Shared Values and Guidelines while you are on retreat.

In addition to these principles, we wish to inform you that smoking is prohibited in the main retreat area, along with the use of alcohol and illicit drugs. (An exception is that some alcohol may be available at a celebration at the end of the retreat). Pets are not allowed on site (with the exception of guide dogs).
