Creating a National Centre in Sydney is an important step in realising Sogyal Rinpoche's vision of firmly establishing Rigpa as a vehicle for the transmission of Dzogpachenpo, the highest teachings in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, to the modern world.
The Centre is expected to cost around $200,000 per annum to operate fully, including maintenance and outreach programs, such as Rigpe Yeshe, for young people, and Spiritual Care, for those suffering from chronic or terminal illness, as well as the people who perform the vital job of caring for them.
We hope to raise approximately half of this through recurring monthly donations from a minimum of 150 people who are able to make this long term commitment.
You are one of them!
Thank you so much for sharing our vision and making this personal commitment to establishing and preserving the wisdom teachings of Tibet in Australia.
